Issue/Introduction

There appears to be different results for detection by the DLP Agent, depending on what type of OS, browser and content is involved.

An example of this would be inline (typed) data is not being monitored in Chrome when browsing HTTPs web sites.

How can we know which content is going to be monitored?


 

Environment

DLP Endpoint Agents, versions 15.7 and higher.

Cause

Detection of web content performs somewhat differently across different browsers, and on different OSs.

Resolution

For expected behavior, please review the details in the following table for HTTPS traffic.
