Issue/Introduction

Scan never complete and LiveUpdate fails on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 or CentOS 6.7 with Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) for Linux client installed.

SEP 12.1/14 for Linux client installed

 

Resolution

Hang may happen due to known deadlock issue in glibc-2.12-1.166.el6.i686. Please update the rpm to glibc-2.12-1.166.el6_7.1.i686.rpm or later.
