A group in Endpoint Protection Manager will not delete and displays error message 'Object cannot be found'

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to delete a group from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), a dialog box appears saying, "Error - The object could not be found". The group does not delete. Additionally, dbvalidator.log indicates broken links in the database.
