Issue/Introduction

After upgrading from GSS 3.1 to GSS 3.2 - Remote PXE Servers are not upgraded and would stay with 3.1 build.

Cause

Known issue / design limitation.

Resolution

Note: You must install the point fix only on the GSS server computer and not on the remote PXE servers.

You can install Ghost Solution Suite 3.2 Point fix 1 over Ghost Solution Suite 3.2. 

In order to allow automatic Remote PXE Servers upgrade - Point fix 1 was released for GSS 3.2 build.

Note: Symantec recommends closing the Ghost Solution Suite Console and any other jobs or tasks that are scheduled before you start installing GSS 3.2 Point fix 1.

1. To upgrade to Ghost Solution Suite 3.2 Point fix1, download and launch the Ghost Solution Suite 3.2 Point fix 1 installer.
2. You can download the GSS 3.2 Point fix1 from KB Attachments
3. On the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite 3.2 Point fix1 window, check I accept the terms in the License Agreement.
4. Click Install.
5. Click Finish.

Note: If you face an issue as mentioned in the article TECH234510, you must restart the Ghost Solution Suite Server after installing the GSS 3.2 Point fix1.
