DLP Protect Database Archive Log Files are not deleted after backup

Issue/Introduction

DLP Database server has limited drive space for archive logs.
DLP Database server is administored by a third party.
DLP Database is under the oversight of a backup administrator and has 3rd party Enterprise Backup Software installed.

Low disk space observed on the database server.
Path Example: E:\oracle\product\11.2.0.4\db_1\RDBMS
File Name Example: ARC0000017484_0789480113.0001

Cause

Most 3rd party backup software suites can manage archive log files created by Oracle as a part of their backup process.

Resolution

Issue stems from a lack of Archive Log management within the backup software.

Identify if the DLP Protect Database is being backed up and if Archive Logs are being deleted upon successful backup.
