SEE Install Package creation failure - Invalid server location

Issue/Introduction

Creating endpoint agent installation packages with Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) 11.1.1 MP2 or 11.1.2, produced IIS error and an "invalid server location" error, relating to the .asmx file settings.

"Invalid server location"

Environment

Windows Server
IIS
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Server 11.1.1 MP2 and 11.1.2
 

Cause

Incorrect settings on SEEM server, affecting he .asmx settings file.
Server hostname only (non FQDN)
IIS .NET 2.0

Resolution

Changed these settings:

1 - IIS Server set to use .NET 4.0
2 - SEEM management console, change server path to a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)

Install package creation completed fine after these settings changes.
