Issue/Introduction

How to download the latest version of VIP Access for Desktop for Windows or MacOS, and VIP Access for Mobile iOS or Android.

IMPORTANT: Installing/reinstalling the VIP Access app will generate a new VIP Credential ID. If you are upgrading/moving to a new device, continue to use your existing VIP Access app until the VIP Credential ID can be transferred to the new device (VIP Access Mobile only). For VIP Access desktop, your internal helpdesk will need to assign the new credential ID to your User ID. 

Resolution

VIP Access Desktop for Windows or MacOS:

1. Go to https://vip.symantec.com/.
2. Click Download.
3. Select the appropriate download for your operating system.
4. Click here for VIP Access Help.

VIP Access Mobile for Android or iOS:

1. Launch Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) from your device. 
2. Locate and install the Symantec VIP Access app.
3. Click here for VIP Access Help.

 

The VIP Access .MSI can be downloaded by a VIP administrator from VIP Manager for Enterprise deployment.

Note: VIP Access Toolbar and VIP Proximity have been replaced with the above apps and are no longer supported.
