Issue/Introduction

Microsoft has switched to a new model of delivering security updates and non-security updates to customers. PACU 2017-4 brings you a new CCS technical standard called Windows Patch Assessment Standard. The evaluation results of this standard help you take informed decisions about the installation of missing security and non-security updates and thus, enhance the compliance posture and performance of your Windows operating systems.

You need infrastructure support for data collection for the Windows Patch Assessment Standard.

Resolution

You must apply the Quick Fix 10807 to include the infrastructure support for data collection for the Windows Patch Assessment Standard. With this QF, the CCS Patch Assessment entity for the Windows platform is updated.
