This article lists the current system requirements for Symantec PGP Viewer 1.0.3 for Android.

Note: This article will be updated as additional platforms or other system requirements are tested and added for Symantec PGP Viewer.

• Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.3.x
• Symantec Encryption Management Server 3.4.x
   

Note: Symantec PGP Viewer for Android requires a managed account on Symantec Encryption Management Server with the LDAP Directory synchronization feature enabled.

Android device requirements
 

Symantec PGP Viewer for Android runs on the following operating systems:

• Android 7.0 through  7.1.1 (Nougat)

• Android 6.0, 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)

• Android 5.0 through 5.1.1 (Lollipop)

• Android 4.4 through 4.4.4 (KitKat)

• Android 4.1 through 4.3.1 (Jelly Bean)

• Android 4.0.3 through 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Symantec PGP Viewer for Android has been tested on devices from the following manufacturers:

• HTC Google (Nexus 9)
• Samsung S7 edge
• Samsung Galaxy J5

Symantec PGP Viewer for Android supports the following device sizes:

• Normal (3-5")

• Large (4-7")

• Extra Large (7-10")

Symantec PGP Viewer for Android supports all resolutions of these devices in both portrait and landscape orientations.

Note: Symantec PGP Viewer decrypts PGP-EML, PGP/MIME, Partitioned text/HTML, and PGP Partitioned text/plain messages. Decryption of S/MIME messages is not supported.
