Issue/Introduction

Export a program from the Telon Design Facility:

Getting the message
   'TLMXI028 INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR EXPORT OF REQUESTED MEMBER NOT FOUND' 

Environment

Using a Batch procedure to Export a member from the TDF

Resolution

A problem occurred during an attempt to access member for export, or member is not in the TDF.

Verify the name of the member to be exported.
Verify that no one accessed the same member in the TDF at the same time as your export took place.

Additional Information

1. Go into the TDF, and see if the member actually exists and has not been deleted by doing an UP Screen Definition 

2. Run JREORGWK, to DEL/DEF and reinitialize the WIP (Work In Process) files, to see if there are any "LIVE" records left over from the last time this member was edited in the TDF (Telon Design Facility). 

3. Check to be sure you are allocating the correct VSAM files 

4. Another possibility is that it may not be an SD - it could be a BD or ND.
