Adlagent will not run jobs in redhat6/centos6

Issue/Introduction

After installing the adlagent on a redhat6 or centos6 jobs will not run on the adlagent. 

Jobs will be assigned on the console and the jobs will be recieved but the adlagent will not run them. 

Environment

GSS 3.1 MP6

adlagent 2.6-675

redhat/centos6

kernel version 2.6.32-xxx

Firewall enabled

SELinux enforced 

Cause

SELinux blocked some components from installing when the adlagent was installed.

Resolution

Disable SELinux or Allow adlagent rights in SELinux.

How to disable SELinux

1. vi /etc/sysconfig/selinux
2. Change SELINUX= to SELINUX=disabled
3. Change SELINUXTYPE to SELINUXTYPE=targeted
4. Uninstall the corrupted adlagent install
5. rm -rf /opt/altiris (to remove any incorrect permissions)
6. Reboot
7. Run getenforce to see what level SELinux is running at
8. Reinstall adlagent 
9. After the agent is installed you can set the selinux back to enabled.
