Microsoft Update: MS14-082-kb2553154 inaccurately displays Installed

Issue/Introduction

MS14-082-fm202010-kb2553154-fullfile-x86-glb.exe is vulnerable per other patching tools yet shows installed in Patch Management Compliance Reports for Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise x86 SP1 Clients.

Environment

Patch Management 7.5.x, 7.6.x and 8.0.x

Cause

Confirmed the IsInstalled=TRUE rule logic is showing 'Effectively Installed' and that was inaccurately returning with scan.

Resolution

This issue was resolved in PMImport v7.2.8 released on 3/21/2017 as detailed in INFO4277.
