Does update the CA SymDump Batch's option CAOETABL require IPL?

Issue/Introduction

Does updating CA SymDump Batch's default table such as CAOUDFRX or CAOETABL require IPL?

Resolution

No. CA SymDump Batch's default options tables are load into CSA.
Does not require IPL to any modification of default options tables values are taken effect.

However reassembled new default options table(s) requires following steps.

1) If you reassembled default options table in different library then HLQ.CAVHAUTH then make sure the reassembled library placed ahead of CAVHAUTH library in Link List.

2) Refresh LLA and Link List.

3) Refresh CA SymDump Batch runtime by running CAIRIM with RIMPARM(CAVHTERM) to deactivate runtime.
    PRODUCT(CA SYMDUMP/INTERTEST) VERSION(VHA0) INIT(CAVHTERM)
    And then rerun CAIRIM with RIMPARM(CAVHINIT) to activate runtime.

4) After successfully activate the CA SymDump Batch's runtime, run option report to verify your option value is changed.
