Issue/Introduction

When viewing the Package Server tab on the Sym Agent, the UNC codebase is available but the HTTP codebase not available. The "Publish HTTP codebase" is also enabled in the  Symantec Management Platform Console under the Package Service settings.

The Sym Agent logs show:

Not all required features of IIS are installed. IIS will not be used and Package Server's virtual directories will be deleted.

Web Server (IIS) role is installed, but the next required Role Services are missing: .NET Extensibility 3.5, ASP.NET 3.5.

Environment

ITMS 8.x

Resolution

To install the ASP.NET 3.5 (this requires .NET Extensibility 3.5) role from the Add Roles and Features Wizard under Web Server (IIS), Application Development, and restart the Symantec Management Agent service or restart the server.
