Issue/Introduction

Various Windows 10 computers get BSoD after installing Symantec Encryption Desktop (SED).
This will happen multiple, random, times.
A reboot usually restores normal operations for an indeterminate amount of time before the computer BSoDs again.

From the crash dump:
Probably caused by : partmgr.sys ( partmgr!PmUpdateIoPower+1f8 )

Environment

SED 10.4 MP1 and 10.4.1 build 490
Dell Latitude E6320
Dell Latitude E7440
Microsoft Surface Pro 3

Resolution

This issue has been observed in some environments and is currently being reviewed by Symantec Development.  Please contact support for further information on this report.
