Unmanaged Mac agent is requesting a 13-digit PIN with SEP SBE cloud installed

Issue/Introduction

After installing an unmanged Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition cloud (SEP SBE) Mac agent a prompt for a 13-digit PIN code is displayed.

Resolution

When a Mac agent is added to the management console a PIN is automatically assigned to the agent. The PIN can be located with the following steps:

1. Login to the SEP SBE cloud management console
2. Browse to the Computers tab
3. Select Unmanaged Computers on the right side
4. Click the down arrow on the right hand side of the Mac agent's row
5. ​Select Show PIN
6. Enter the PIN in the SEP SBE client
