For overcoming this issue, Download the attachment in this article, extract it and follow the instructions given below
Pre-condition
Stop the SSP IDP and LDAPSync through the VIP Enterprise Gateway Console.
On Windows, follow these steps
Note: You must be logged in as an administrator and perform this operation
1) Stop the LDAPSync service.
2) Copy syncmigration.bat and syncMigration.jar from the extracted windows folder to <VIP EG Install Folder>\tools directory.
3) Open a Command prompt, navigate to <VIP EG Install Folder>\tools directory.
4) Run syncmigration.bat
5) Once migration is completed successfully, we will see a message in the prompt “Sync Migration Done. Exiting...”
6) Syncmigration logs will be logged to a file “syncMigration.log” by default to <install folder >\logs folder .
On Linux, follow these steps
Note: You must be logged in as a root user and perform this operation
1) Stop the LDAPSync service
2) Copy syncmigration.sh and syncMigration.jar from the extracted linux folder to <VIP EG Install Folder>/tools directory.
3) Open a Terminal, navigate to <VIP EG Install Folder>/tools directory.
4) Run syncmigration.sh
5) Once migration is completed successfully, we will see a message in the prompt “Sync Migration Done. Exiting...”
6) Syncmigration logs will be logged to a file “syncMigration.log” by default to <VIP EG Install Folder>/logs folder .
Once the above migration steps are completed successfully,
- Login to VIP EG 9.4.x Console ,
- Go to LDAPSync tab and click run once,
- After the task is complete, all the users will now be managed by this VIP EG 9.4.x instance.
- Start the LDAPSync service. LDAPSync will now be able to manage these users from the next sync schedule automatically.
