LDAP Synchronization Errors

Issue/Introduction

When trying to run the LDAPSYNC, you may receive the following error message:

Cause

The error message ReferralException occured. Mesg: Continuation Reference,op=Synchronization"; indicates that an LDAP referral was returned in the search results.

{VIP.EN_US} (VIP) Enterprise Gateway does not process or follow referrals.

Resolution

Adding (!(objectClass=crossRef)) will not help to resolve the issue.

{VIP.EN_US} (VIP) Enterprise Gateway can have only one instance of LDAP Sync service.
LDAP Sync uses the User Store configured in EG Console --> User Store --> LDAP Directory Synchronization.
