When does a Symantec VIP token get locked?

Issue/Introduction

Symantec VIP Tokens are locked when too many invalid OPT’s are entered and they exceed the maximum validation settings allowed.

Resolution

The credential is in active use in the account, but is currently unavailable for validation while in a locked state.
This state is set automatically by the system based on account settings for validation.
