Users cannot access VIP Manager using external URL

Issue/Introduction

Users can access VIP Manager using an internal IP address in VIP Enterprise Gateway (EG), but cannot access VIP Manager using the external URL. 

"You have entered an invalid username or password"

Cause

Users login using LDAP password for https://manager.vip.symantec.com/vipmgr/signin.v

Resolution

Click on forgot password. A new password will be sent to the user's email id. The new password will allow you to successfully login to VIP manager.
