How to lower the number of incorrect login attempts in VIP Manager from the default level of ten?

How do I change the credential lockout threshold?

How do I adjust the Maximum Validation Failures limit for a credential?

Resolution

A VIP Administrator with the securities permission can adjust Credential Security Settings from within the VIP Manager console.

Under Customer Credential Management select Credential Security Settings.

Maximum Validation Failures is configured for each credential type separately and is not impacted by the Default security levels.  VeriSign recommends a value of 10 or higher to minimize user impact.
