In some situations, the Registered Computer credential is unable to access the VIP Web Service endpoints, even if the user can manually access them.
For VIP, the endpoints are VIP Authentication Service for provisioning and VIP User Services for log in.
This is typically caused by a network issue (for example, inability to reach an OCSP certificate or an intermediate CA missing from the certificate chain). Have your network administrator troubleshoot your network.
If this issue is only experienced by a single user, the user’s certificate store may not trust the SSL certificates on the Web Service endpoints. Either push the certificates to the user’s certificate store, or log in as administrator to manually install them into the user’s certificate store.
