Issue/Introduction

VIP Access 1.0.3 for MAC does not launch on mac OS 10.12 (Sierra)

A stop sign on top of the app icon and there is no way to open VIP Access 1.0.3 under macOS 10.12

Cause

Apple has removed a memory management system called Garbage Collection from macOS 10.12 (Sierra). Because VIP Access 1.0.3 utilized this system, the lack of Garbage Collection prevents the VIP Access Desktop from functioning. 

Resolution

Symantec VIP Access for Mac 1.0.4 has been released with support added for MacOS (Sierra). This build can be installed on MacOS 10.9 through 10.12 (Sierra). If 1.0.3 is already installed on MacOS 10.12, the installer will upgrade 1.0.3 to 1.0.4
