Issue/Introduction

When connecting to the credential store, you may receive the following error message:

Error 18752 occurred at uaotptokenstoreociimpl.uaotptokenstoreociimpl.c:1686.Description:UAOTPToken-StoreOCIImpl.OCILogon() --OCI error 12154 [ORA-12154:TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified]

Cause

This error occurs when one of the following conditions are true:

• Connection between the Validation server and credential store has timed out
• Connection issues between Validation server and credential store due to firewall

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure the correct hostname is entered for the credential store and ensure the proper ports are open for the firewall.
