Attention status on servers after new installation

Issue/Introduction

After installing Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition cloud (SEP SBE) on a Windows Server operating system, the client reports Attention status due to out-of-date virus definitions.

Environment

Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016

Resolution

1. Download the IPS Intelligent Updater (exe file)

2. Download the virus definitions Intelligent Updater:
   For 32bit systems: Download ******-v5i32.exe
   For 64bit systems: Download ******-v5i64.exe

3. Place both files on the server and run them, then reboot the server. They will replace current definitions and will resolve the message.
