Runtime Error NLnotes.exe abnormal program termination when opening encrypted e-mails with Lotus Notes

Issue/Introduction

Lotus Notes being used with SED/SEMS 10.0/3.0 encryption, not allowing email to open or function normally.

Trying to open Lotus Notes for email, causing error: Runtime Error, Program C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Lotus|Notes\NLnotes.exe, abnormal program termination.

Environment

Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Cause

This is related to the nPGPNote.dll not properly syncing with PGP.

Resolution

Customer updated SED/SEMS to 10.4.1/3.4.1, and the Lotus Notes works fine.
