Issue/Introduction

Internet Explorer (IE) 11 crashes when Browsium Ion emulates a new browser session and Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14 Intrusion Prevention (IPS) Generic Exploit Mitigation is enabled.

Cause

After inspection of an iexplorer.exe process dump, the IE 11 browser crash is caused by Browsium Ion file (bxsdk32.dll) and is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Browsium\Ion\ folder.
