Issue/Introduction

Failed to login to a web console via Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Web access
AjaxSwing Resource Error appears in the web page.

Resource Error message as below:

The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager server does not have enough memory to start another remote web console session.

An administrator with access to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager server can help fix this issue in the following ways:

limit the number of concurrent remote web console sessions. Encourage administrators who log on to the remote web console to log out when the console is not in use.
Close any unused applications that are running on the server.
Add memory or increase Virtual memory on the server.

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1
Windows Server 2008 R2
Internet Explorer 9

Cause

Insufficient virtual memory on the Windows Server 2008 which holds the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

Resolution

The issue can be resolved by 2 methods:

Release as much as possible virtual memory on the Windows Server in any of below way:
- close any unused applications on the server to release the virtual memory
- logout other Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager web session
- restart the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Service to force end all unused web sessions
Add memory or virtual memory on the Windows Server.

Virtual Memory can be increased using the Advanced tab in System Properties.
