Acer TravelMate P246-M displays a jittering BootGuard screen after encrypting with SED

Issue/Introduction

After encrypting an Acer TravelMate P246-M with Symantec Encryption Desktop the BootGuard screen jitters.
And neither the internal keyboard or an external USB 2.0 connected keyboard work after encryption.
 

Environment

Acer TravelMate P246-M
Have tried the following SED versions:
10.4.1
10.4.0 MP1 HF1
10.3.2 MP13

We have tried the following OS':
Win 7 Pro 64-bit
Win 8 64-bit

All the drivers have been updated.

This has been referred to our Developers for review.
