Issue/Introduction

Where are the logs (log path) for Symantec Endpoint Encryption and Symantec Drive Encryption for FileVault Encryption?  Logging is useful in diagnosing issues and debugging in general.

Resolution

To gather logging data for Symantec Endpoint Encryption or Symantec Encryption Desktop for FileVault, consult the following directories:

~/Logs/SEEagent

/var/log/SEEd

This information will be useful in diagnosing client issues with the Symantec Encryption Management Server for FileVault, and Symantec Endpoint Encryption for FileVault.
