How to exclude the Recycle Bin from an Endpoint Discover scan

Issue/Introduction

You would like to exclude the Windows Recycle Bin from an Endpoint Discover scan.

Resolution

Add the following filter to the exclude filters field in the Endpoint Discover target:

c:\*Recycle.Bin\*

 

To add the exclude filter perform the following:

1. Navigate to Manage -> Discover Scanning -> Discover Targets.

2. Click the Endpoint Discover target you want to add the exclude filter to.

3. Click the Filters tab.

4. Add the above filter to the list of Exclude Filters and Save.
