The IP address of the Symantec Protection Engine (SPE) scanner has changed and SPE is no longer receiving scan requests. You need information on how to change the bind address to the server's new IP address.
Windows Server 2008 and later
1. Open a command prompt and navigate to <drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Scan Engine
2. At the prompt enter the following command and press Enter: xmlmodifier.exe -s //configuration/protocol/ICAP/BindAddress/@value <New IP Address> configuration.xml
3. Open Services and restart the Symantec Protection Engine service
