Issue/Introduction

When using Performance Counter object to measure system uptime, the metric and alerts work, but does not auto-resolve from the event console

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

This is resolved in 8.1 by applying the attached point-fix.

  1. Download the attached archive and extract to a directory on the SMP Server.
  2. Log onto the SMP as the Application Identity account.
  3. Launch PFInstaller.exe and click "Install Files" to apply.
  4. This will update SQL statements to correctly show the collected data.
