After upgrading a standalone DLP environment from 12.5 to 14.0 and 15.0, IT Analytics was not able to connect to the DLP Oracle database.
No Specific error message. However, Cube processing did not complete successfully
Upgrade from DLP 12.5 to DLP 14.0 or 15.0
Corrupted Oracle client on the SQL server and/or incorrect data source account.
Solution 1: Re-installing the Oracle agent and tools on the SQL server resolved the issue.
Solution 2: Creating a new SQL account to access the data source solved the issue. In the below example, we were connecting to SEP, but the CMDB, or Processmanager for Servicedesk, or others could be used. To do this:
