Issue/Introduction

After successfully installing or upgrading to Endpoint Protection (SEP) 14 client without the firewall component, the SEP installer prompts for a restart. This happens regardless of whether the installation settings for the installation package were configured to not prompt for a reboot.

Cause

Updates to the SEP 14 installer cause it to request a restart before the restart policy from the installation package loads. The installer is using the default restart prompt settings instead of the custom settings included with the installation package.

Resolution
