Issue/Introduction

After upgrading ITMS 8.0 to HF2 or HF3 ULM (Unix, Linux, Mac) agents are no longer able to communicate with the NS.  

No alternate certificate subject name matches target hostname. 

Environment

• ITMS 8.0 HF2 or HF3
• ULM Clients
• Using Certificates

 

 

Cause

Curl was updated to 7.50.1 to mitigate issue with SAN verification.
This update forced host certificate validation (previously host certificate was validated only if targeted agent settings were saved)

 

Resolution

Since the agents were updated and will no longer communicate with the NS agents must be manually removed and reinstalled.

This is fixed in HF4
