CCS 11.1 agent fails to install on a Windows Server 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 Core installation.

Cause

This happens because Oledlg.dll is missing in the Windows Server 2008 and Windows 2008 R2 Core installation.

Resolution

Add Oledlg.dll at the following path in your Windows Server 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 Core installation:

  • C:\Windows\System32
  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64
