After upgrade of Endpoint Protection client or after modifying the feature set to add in the Network Threat Protection Firewall (Teefer), abnormal and unexpected network connection issues are experienced such as failure to obtain DHCP address or issues with client/server communication.
Previous old legacy versions of 3rd party software created by GAS Technologies were causing issues when installed with Endpoint Point Protection Firewall.
Upgrading to the latest released version of the 3rd party software resolved the issue. Contact GAS Technologies support to obtain the latest version to ensure compatibility.
