Deleting all rules in the Merged Rules panel does not delete the rules from the sandbox

Issue/Introduction

While updating predefined or custom sandboxes for policy violations or incremental profiling, deleting all rules in the Merged Rules panel does not delete those rules from the sandbox.

Affected management console operating systems: All

Resolution

Workaround:
In the Merged Rules panel, retain one rule and delete the rest. Then delete the retained rule manually from the predefined or custom sandbox.
