Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager notification emails are missing report details or attachments are blank.

This may be evident, in particular, after upgrading to SEPM 12.1 RU6 MP5

Style.css or *.mht attachments, but no visible content when viewing attachments

Cause

This issue has been fixed in SEP 14.0 Manager.

Resolution

Solution: upgrade to SEP 14.0 Manager.

As a work-around, to obtain more readable email reports, please try the following:

• remove scm.email.content.type setting from SEPM\tomcat\etc\conf.properties (use html-formated email), restarting SEPM service(s) after any change to conf.properties
• configure SEPM notification emails to use report type to "event list" rather than "summary report"
