Issue/Introduction

When the AgentConfiguration.exe command to register an agent was pasted (from a Word document or an email) at the command prompt, the hyphen in the command changed to an ASCII character, and the command did not return any result. However, no error message was displayed informing the user about the failure in running the command.

Cause

 When the AgentConfiguration.exe command to register an agent was pasted (from a Word document or an email) at the command prompt, the hyphen in the command changed to an ASCII character, and the command did not return any result. However, no error message was displayed informing the user about the failure in running the command.

Resolution

Resolution: Apply the Quick Fix (QF) 10516 to resolve this issue. Now, the code has been modified to invoke help in case a wrong parameter is added at the command prompt. This informs user about the error.
