Issue/Introduction

The first value in the MUF SYSIN DATAPOOL card (a.k.a.DATALN) defines the size of the buffers used for data areas access (data buffers).

We are planning to increase the block size of all our user data areas. Currently all these areas have a block size set to 4K. Is there any problem increasing the DATALN value from 4K to 13K?

Environment

Release:
Component: DB

Resolution

No, there is no problem but a lot a storage is wasted, as each 13K block will contain only 4K of data.
