Issue/Introduction

New install of SED 10.3.2 MP13 on two HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G2 i7 computers running Windows 10.
Each computer has a SSD non M2 drive, 256 GB.
One of the computers encrypted fine.
The other does not encrypt.
He can install SED but when he tries to add a user for WDE it throws an error pop-up stating:
"Another Drive Encryption product is installed. Please remove it before trying to encrypt your drive.".

"Another Drive Encryption product is installed. Please remove it before trying to encrypt your drive.".

Environment

SED 10.3.2 MP13

Two HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G2 i7 computers running Windows 10.

The BIOS version on the one that encrypted is 01.03, 7/21/2015.
The BIOS version on the one that does not encrypt is 01.04, 10/28/2015.

Cause

The HP Security Manager on the one that encrypted does not have disk encryption as an option.
The HP Security Manager on the one that does not encrypt does have disk encryption as an option.

Resolution

Worked with HP to disable the HP Security Manage on the computer that will not encrypt.
Afterwards SED could encrypt the drive.
