Why and when we get CAG8001E CAN NOT OBTAIN WORK AREA. BYPASSING API message ?
The CAG8001E message is issued by CA-1, which is a tape management product.
CA-1 would hook the OPEN processing for data-sets regardless of job type and getmain a work area to check if the dataset is tape or dasd.
If the storage for the work area is not enough, this message would be issued but we allow the job to continue instead of causing a dump but we emit the CAG8001E message.
We need to Increase the region size for the application that received this message, to don't get this message.
