Issue/Introduction

When updating from Messaging Gateway (SMG) version 10.6.1-3 to SMG 10.6.1-4, the command line update command may insist that no update is available even when the 10.6.1-4 update appears in the list of available updates.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation

Resolution

Specifying the full version using the -v option to the update command will resolve this issue for the download, install, and localinstall update actions.

smg> update -v “10.6.1-4” install
