Issue/Introduction

Performing a Ghost Clone operation from Source/Master computer to Target/Slave

Process is finishes completly, and when closing the Ghost window - on Target machine we would get Application Error 34007 (TCP/IP receiving data failed)

If instead of closing Master Ghost window first, we will close Slave Ghost - then on Master Ghost receiving error 36002 (User Aborted)

Receiving 34007 or 36002 at the end of Ghost Clone operation

GSS 3.0 & 3.1

Cause

When we closing the Ghost window - connection between Master and Slave ghost sessions is closed.
 

Resolution

This error only a visible issue for Ghost Master/Slave session communication. While Ghost Cloning/Imaging process have actually properly finished, and OS on Target/Slave computer is properly installed, and can be safely ignored.

Symantec engineering have resolved this issue in GSS 3.2 and will no longer appear.
