USB devices not charging using Symantec Endpoint Protection

Issue/Introduction

USB ports have been blocked through Application and Device control policy and users are able to charge their USB devices

Resolution

On Windows 2000, XP and 2003 USB devices will be blocked and not charged.  Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 2008 allow USB charging even if they are blocked in Symantec Endpoint Protection.
