Issue/Introduction

After changing the account used for the SQL database and running through the Management Configuration Wizard you receive "While reconfiguring the server, you are not allowed to change the credentials with which the database was created"

Log output from ConfigurationWizard-0.log:

2016-06-17 18:22:09.803 THREAD 32 SEVERE: Exception saving audit event to database
2016-06-17 18:22:09.803 THREAD 32 WARNING: java.sql.SQLException: Invalid object name 'AUDIT_LOG'.

 

Cause

This issue occurs if you have more than one schema in SQL and the new user is mapped with the incorrect schema under "User Mapping". 

Resolution

Ensure the newly created SQL user has the same schema as the current SQL user (default SEM5):
