Issue/Introduction

Currently, Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11 handles the "client monitor" setting from a computer based perspective as opposed to a user profile perspective. Example, if a computer fails to check in to the server in "x" number of days the endpoint will be locked. This request is being submitted to enhance the product adding the ability to lock out a user profile instead of locking the endpoint

Resolution

Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.

Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add this product feature. Note that a feature request is exactly that, a request. There is no committed date for this request from the Encryption Product Management team, nor from the Encryption Engineering team at this time.
