Unable to remove expired tasks from the Agent List screen

After a DLP administrator runs an agent troubleshooting task on the Agent List screen, the task icon remains indefinitely or until the administrator runs the task again.


The agent troubleshooting task icon displays for the default period 3,600 seconds as defined in the file on the Enforce Server.


Adjust the global task expiry interval for all troubleshooting task types:

  1. Access the Enforce Server file system.
  2. Locate the file. For a default installation, the file can be located at \SymantecDLP\Protect\config
  3. Open the file in a text editor.
  4. Locate the com.vontu.manager.troubleshootingTask.display.expiryInterval.secs property.
  5. Enter a new value to determine how long the troubleshooting task icons display.
